Espinho Surf Destination

    Today begins the 1st round of the European Junior Surf Circuit in Praia da Baia, Espinho.

    The circuit runs until next Sunday, June 29, and has 110 members (26 Portuguese) for title of stage and European titles Pro Junior (Under-21), male and female.

    According to Marcelo Martins, director of competition, competition began today at 8:30AM with the first phase due to the high number of applicants. It is expected still have good condition and beginning of a new waves which certainly will bring great surf performances this days.

    This race will be the first of four male and five female stages, counting for the assignment of European titles.

    The Espinho Surf Destination is an organization of the Surf Atitude Clube and Onda Pura, sponsored by the Hotel Praia Golfe, supports the City of Espinho, FEDER, within the Programa Operacional da Região Norte (ON2), the Castros illuminations and SuperBock, having as official partners to the Federação Portuguesa de Surf, the Association of Surfing Professionals and Associação Nacional.
